Who we are
Builders Choice is a building brokerage helping Australians navigate their home‑building journey. With teams in Perth and Melbourne, our brokers connect you with more than 30 pre‑vetted builders and guide you through the process based on your goals, location, budget and lifestyle.
Choosing the first builder you come across isn’t enough anymore, people want real value. Share your brief and we’ll shortlist the builders worth your time, saving you both time and money. Think of us as a mortgage broker, but for building your home.

Our story
Where we started
Builders Choice began with Lachlan, Brennan and Alistair — three local lads with over 35 years of combined industry experience — who saw Australians entering the building process overwhelmed, under‑informed and relying on advice from a single builder.
They knew builders vary widely in how they build, what they specialise in, their design approach, service and pricing, yet most people only ever see a small slice of the market before making a major financial decision.
They created Builders Choice to give Australians real choice, better value and honest guidance. We’re paid by the builder only if a client proceeds, allowing us to put your interests first.

Using Builders Choice is completely free for you. We’re paid by the builders in our network when we make a successful match — but because we only ever match you on what’s right for your build, our guidance stays unbiased.
We don’t build homes and we don’t favour anyone. A match is only a good one if it’s right for you — so that’s the only thing we optimise for. We’re upfront about how we work, and you’re always free to walk away.
